Handcrafted
log homes can also be referred to as full-scribe. The logs are stacked
horizon-tally with each log cut to match the one below it, without the
use of chinking.
Post
and beam derives from Timber framing, a European and Japanese style of
construction using large squared timbers as the structural shell. Framing
would fill in the spaces between the posts. Instead of squaring the beams
entirely, we flatten only the areas where framing is attached. This high-lights
the natural beauty of the round wood.
Fusion is the blend of traditional
handcrafted and Post & Beam Log Homes. This creates bigger, brighter window and door openings and an assortment
of wall coverings. (e.g. sheet rock)
Accenting
allows for the subtle look of log without taking away from modern design.
By adding a hint of character, the home takes on a new personality. No
matter the home location, it offers a feeling of nature and serenity.
